IN-PERSON REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
In-person registration will be held in the Berner Middle School Cafeteria on the following date and time:

SATURDAY SEPT. 15, 10AM-1PM

Late Registration will be held at Ames Campus of MHS, Main Entrance on:
MONDAY SEPT. 17, 7-9 PM
Classes are limited in size and fill up quickly. IN-PERSON REGISTRATION ON SEPTEMBER 15 IS RECOMMENDED. CLASSES WILL BE FILLED ON A FIRST COME-FIRST SERVED BASIS. NUMBERS WILL BE HANDED OUT STARTING ONE HOUR BEFORE REGISTRATION BEGINS.

MAIL-IN REGISTRATION
Mail-in registration will be processed between Sept. 18th and Sept. 28th. Any registrations mailed in before September 18 will not be opened and processed until September 18. They will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Download a registration form here. You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope with your registration.. We suggest checking below before mailing in the registration form to check for closed classes.

We accept checks or cash only. Checks can be made payable to YPCAW.

If you have questions or would like more information, please call 516-799-1301. Leave a message with an evening phone number and a volunteer will return your call. DO NOT CALL THE SCHOOL OFFICE FOR INFORMATION. They do not have any information about our program.

PROGRAM RULES AND REGULATIONS

MASSAPEQUA SCHOOL DISTRICT 23 RESIDENTS ONLY! Must Present School Tax Bill or Library Card for proof of residency.

The following requirements will be strictly adhered to (NO EXCEPTIONS!):

  • Parents may only register THEIR OWN CHILDREN.
  • Birth certificates must be shown for classes with age requirements (3-5 year olds).
  • Child must be toilet trained.
  • Child must reach age/grade requirements stated by the first day of classes.
  • Fees are payable in full at time of registration by CASH or CHECK only.
  • No refunds will be made after the first day of classes.
  • No refunds will be made if classes must be cancelled for climate or other reasons and cannot be rescheduled.
  • Class changes may only be made by the first day of classes, if room permits.
*The Board reserves the right to:
  • Cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment
  • Remove a disruptive/non-participating child from the class/program.

Parents must notify the Board if a student has a medical condition that may affect their ability to fully participate in class activities or with materials.
